Nollywood actress Mary Lazarus talking about her achievement thus far disclosed she didn’t join the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood because of fame.
In a lengthy write-up, she shared on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that sets monthly targets for herself.
According to Mary, after her NYSC, she got a 48 thousand naira-paying job, but it didn’t sit down well for her. She usually grudges while going to work and sometimes sneaks out for auditions until she finally quit the job without having another at hand.
After resigning, she gave herself a target to double her monthly salary, which she achieved, she got a movie role of 130 thousand naira.
She denoted that she increases her target yearly.
Mary said she didn’t join Nollywood for fame while her mates in other sectors be making money, she reminds us she is an Igbo girl, she loves money.
According to her, her targets are the main reason she doesn’t attend occasions except she would be paid.
She advises upcoming Nollywood actors, she said Nollywood money comes in bits, daily, weekly, monthly, they should try to save up and Invest.
Lastly, she said, she hasn’t met her target after she buried her mum.
