One of the passengers on the Indian airline “IndiGo” was delivered 1400 kilometres from his destination.

One of the passengers of the Indian airline “IndiGo” was delivered 1400 kilometers from his destination, according to the Monitoring Desk in New Delhi. Afsar Hussain, an Indian national, had purchased a ticket for IndiGo aircraft 6E214, which was scheduled to depart from New Delhi and arrive in Patna, Bihar, according to Daily Pakistan Global.

By accident, IndiGo sent this officer, Hussain, 1400 kilometers away from Patna, to Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan. When he arrived at Uday Airport, Afsar Hussain discovered the airline had made a mistake. IndiGo Airlines was alerted of the error by airport staff.

Officer Hussain was flown from Udaipur to New Delhi after being informed of the situation, and from there he was moved to Patna on another aircraft. An investigation into IndiGo Airlines’ error has been launched by the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
