-Sanwo-Olu declares 3-day mourning for victims of Lagos building collapse
Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state governor has announced three days morning for the victims of the 21-story building that collapsed along Mosley Road in Ikoyi which occurred on November 1st.
According to Roundnews24, a statement released by Gbenga Omotoso, the state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, said the lead representative has requested that all banners are to be flown at half-pole in broad daylight. Private structures and official commitment dropped during the grieving time frame.
It was also stated, that no fewer than 32 persons were believed to have died in the incident as of 2.00 p.m. on Thursday.

Sanwo-Olu has also visited the rescue site thrice to encourage the rescue team and console families whose member/s have been trapped in the debris of the collapsed 21 story building.

He was also at the hospital to cheer up the injured before swearing in a six-member panel of inquiry on Thursday to investigate the cause of the building collapse and profound preventive measures for such an incident.
The morning will begin on Friday and end on Sunday, the governor said.
Sanwo-Olu sympathizes with all those who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incident, the statement read.
